Cllr Sam Watts

Sam is a current serving Town Councillor based within the Borough of Kettering in Northamptonshire. As the owner of a multi-award winning small business and a former Police Constable he is passionate about helping small business and tackling crime.

Sam entered politics in February 2015 and quickly became established locally having stood in various elections including Borough, County, Parliamentary and for Northamptonshire Police and Crime Commissioner.

"I believe the public should have a range of voting options and whilst we see the established Parties drifting further to the extremes it is clear that Britain needs a sensible, centre ground Party that puts democracy first. The SDP is that Party and will empower grass root members to truly work for a better community.

I'm proud to now be a part of the SDP and will work to build an inclusive branch within Northamptonshire that fights for all. We will not be afraid to say it how it is and challenge the establishment where it fails ordinary people.

The SDP is a fantastic opportunity for those who feel they are no longer represented to get involved and help shape the future of our Country.  I feel excited to be a part of something with a proud history and a dynamic plan for the future."
